HM Treasury has launched a formal review of the Green Book discount rate used in social cost-benefit analysis and is seeking input from the academic community. SBCA members and others working in benefit-cost analysis are invited to contribute via a short survey, open through Feb. 13.
A new SBCA blog post summarizes insights from the Frontiers in Environmental Valuation panel at the SBCA 2025 Annual Conference, organized by John Whitehead and presided over by Tim Haab.
